| I would like to thank all the people who let me photograph them. I was surprised at how cooperative everyone was, especially the people who agreed to the neutral, non-emotional poses. Blame me, not them. It all goes back to this line from Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. "There are moments when your face is a map of all the smiles you withheld and the tears that you never shed." My goal is to capture some of those moments in my photography. I shot 220 photos. Here are 176 of them. I didn't include the photos where someone had their eyes closed or a reflection in their glasses made it impossible to see their eyes. To view the photos click here. If you see a photo you like, make a note of the number. Here are the original, uncroped, full size photos right out of my camera. Click on the group you want and they should download right to your comptuer. After downloaded and copied to a CD, take them to a photo processing place. Tell them to lighten them according to the way their printer is calabrated. |
